¨ Consulting

¨ Communication

¨ Sharing of Resources Across All Types of Libraries

¨ Ongoing Professional Development Opportunities

¨ Assistance with Strategic Planning

The multicounty multitype library systems have built solid relationships and networks to connect all types of Minnesota libraries.

Multitypes give voice to all libraries regardless of their size or type.

Minnesota’s Legislative Statute 134.351 established the Multitype systems in 1979. State Library Services and School Technology, within the Minnesota Department of Education, administers the pro-gram under the Statute and Rules 3530.2600. State aid appropriations provide the bulk of the funding.
